So I'm heading to Las Vegas tomorrow for work/play. Any recommendation on where to enjoy a cigar? beside Casa Feunte. I was there 3 years ago and am wondering if things changed much. I'm hoping they still have those smoking hot hostess!! I remember the prices of cigars reached as high as $100 for an opus X. So I'll be sure to bring my own supply.

There is a tobacco shop just off the strip in the Plaza next to In-n-Out Burger. It's near the Excalibur and MGM hotels. Nothing fancy, but a nice selection of cigars and far, far more reasonable prices than Casa Fuente. Sorry I can't remember the name of it right now...but I know it is still there.

A question as I'm hours away from getting back to smoker paradise Macau and wonder if it's worth making it one day to Vegas and the original hotels. Are the casinos smoker friendly there or are you parked in some small smoking corners to enjoy puros ??

For those who care in Macau, Venetian, Wynn's and MGM have great establishments and you can even smoke during checking in if you fancy it.

I think the only place you can't smoke is like the malls. Like Caesars Palace for example. They have a huge mall that's attached to the Casino. Once you cross that line into the mall there is no smoking. However you can smoke at Casa Fuente in the mall. Which is designated a smoking area.

But in all you can smoke all throughout the casino's and bars...not a problem. If you haven't been to Las Vegas before I recommend it.

Hope you had a fantastic trip in Macau...safe travels

I just got back from Vegas and am going out there again for Labor Day weekend. Casa Fuente has not changed...same hostesses, same outrageously priced cigars. Most of the shops there are priced a little above average - i think just because of the locale.

I've gotten into the habit of bringing my own. All the casinos i've been to have been totally cigar friendly. My favorite is finding a nice sports book like the MGM's, Mirage's, etc., lighting up a nice CC, getting a drink and enjoying a game.

Have fun!

Technically you are allowed to smoke anywhere on the floor and in the sportsbooks. Not in the malls as indicated above. Also no longer allowed in restaurants. I was there about a month ago and the sportsbook was a great place to watch the game and smoke a cigar. Tables were less smoker friendly. At best you get annoyed looks/comments from other players/the dealer. At worst, well same thing, but more aggressive. Even though its allowed I end up feeling like I am doing something wrong when I light up at the tables. That said, its a fantastic way to get a table for you and a few buddies if you spread out and all light up cigars! :cigar:
