JL #2 or SLR regio

hey guys just wondering if you fellas could maybe throw some advice my way....thinking of getting something a little different for the humi...either JL 2s or SLR regios....i generally stick to ones i know like..ie..partagas SD4s,P2s,dip 4s,montes,BBFs,cohibas hereand their,box of dukes...any advice or recomendations would be great...............CHEERS....Deano

I've been smoking through a box of Regios (HQ 08) that have been absolutely amazing. They have all been consistent in construction and flavor. Hope that helps you out, good luck.

I vote JL's. I have gone through several boxes of each. Have yet to smoke a good Regio. All the one I have had are ugly windtunnels and taste like sour cardboard. Not a fan.

Why not try both, as they either one can smoke well. Let your taste buds and olfactory be your guide.

Haven't smoked a JL2 in years but used to love them.

The Regios, on the other hand, are always in stock. Outstanding cigars. Can't do without them.

Smoked and have them both. 4 boxes JL2 vs 1 box Regio. The 4:1 ratio is based upon flavor that I prefer. Regio is good, jl2 just suits me better.

I'd have to cast my vote for the SLR Regio, although I prefer the Serie A over the Regio. I've smoked both the Juan Lopez 1 and 2. Prefer the 2 over the 1, but both SLRs are better than the 1 IMHO.

Deano, I agree with trying a few of each and see what you think. While you're at it, in a similar format, try a few VR Famosos

two great cigars, are both good in cab 50', i prefer JL has a constant quality!

Both great cigars, but like others I prefer the Serie A and JL#1 over the #2 and Regio.

If I had to choose though, probably the Regio, just because I have had some incredible ones, but the JL #2 have always been more consistent.

Never a big JL #1 or #2 fan- except for some 97 JL#1s I recently got. HQ 08 Regios are very nice. Good rich flavor. But, you may not like the same cigars as me. I'd suggest adding a couple singles of each to your next order & see what YOUR taste prefers.

I've smoked 08 Regios and JL2's. They are both are great cigars. My 08 Regios are going through a sick phase now.

I'd pick the one with the flavor profile that you prefer.

My vote is with the Regio. Im a big fan of the SLR line in general.

Never had a Regio, but I've enjoyed the JL2s a lot.
