mbrody Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Man I have a thing for 1/2 Coronas (Sorry Ken). My perfect 1/2 Corona is nothing more than a blast of flavors representative of the Marca in a in a short period of time. If I get that, I am a happy camper. This little Boli has been at the top of my list lately (I now have 4 boxes), so lets see what today's smoke holds...out for a hike with my buddy, Nala. TEB Jul 07 She looks great; perfect draw and some earthy notes at cold. Opens medium with blasts of espresso with a shot of foam and a little raw sugar, capped with a little lemon rind. There is a little pepper spice on the finish. Lovely. Really wakes your tastebuds up. Smoke is plentiful and cool. The second third actually sees a change from strong espresso to more cappuccino like with some light flavors of earth and maybe a hint of leather. The coffee like flavors exhibit a little creme. The spice is gone, but the cigar is still medium. Really tasty. The final third becomes a little stronger. The cappucino becomes a more brooding cup. Earth is a little stronger and the sense of creme from the second third still remains. How could it get any better? Nubbed it! 91
anacostiakat Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Good review. Nice dog! I like these too. There is a place in my humi for some shorties like this. I smoke them more as closers than anything else.
dicko Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Next box purchase for sure, I only hear good things about these! Great dog you have there!

Smoked a Boli PC tonight. Also very good, but the CJ in direct comparison is bolder and more distinct. As ksblazer said...a blast of bolivar!
