Here we are. On the patio. Sac Town . Another day in paradise.post-6657-1278810722.jpg It's hot and getting hotter.

I am a Punch fan but this is my first box of PPCs.

So I finally decided to do a review. Here goes.

Appearance: Colorado Claro wrapper with about a medium sheen. Box pressed squared. I like the size. Easy to hold.

Draw at Cold: Draw is open with Light Grassy notes. post-6657-1278814348.jpg

Fire it Up: Vegetal notes continue and a bit of caramel. Fruit (not stonefruit) More citrusy. With a little twang.

Settled down quickly into more tobacco flavor but still on the light side. Some pepper through the nose. My sinuses are opening up!

Best have more Ale. My drink of choice. Eye of the Hawk Strong Ale. Mendicino Brewing Co. If any of you guys find M.B.C. ales, give them a try! Very solid. post-6657-1278812187.jpg

1st 3rd: Slight side tunneling. Settling into solid Punch tobacco. Punch fans know what I'm talking about. :innocent: Still medium body. I like this cigar. post-6657-1278813479.jpg

2nd 3rd: "Wonkey" burn. Still tunneling. The little bit of pepper is gone. Still smooth and medium body. post-6657-1278813521.jpg

3rd 3rd: This is where a cigar wins or loses in my opinion. The burn has evened out. It's become creamy on the palate and the citrus and pepper has come back. This cigar wins.post-6657-1278813567.jpg It is the little brother to the Royal Selection 11. A real cracker box! Over medium with a long finish and plenty of smoke.

4th 3rd: Medium + bodied. Fruity. Spicy. A very enjoyable little cigar. I'd be happy to grab this one when I'm looking for a + - 45 minute smoke. I'll definitely keep this in the rotation!

Final score: :hand: 84 . 85 if it had burned better.

Sorry about the out of sync Photos. This is my first attempt at the download and the upload. :lookaround:
