Ryan Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 With all the bad news in threads about Cuba recently, I think this is a nice little story. "Una Corda" is a charity set up a few years ago to send piano parts to Cuba. Tuners are also travelling over to train Cubans to tune pianos. Here's a little news bit about it, some nice shots of Havana. Part 1 Part 2 Here's the link to the website of the charity http://www.unacorda.org/about.html I got in touch with them before I went earlier in the year, at the time I was told that they currently had enough parts and they were concentrating on completing the restoration of the building. It's a great idea and not often that a charity makes it so easy to do something so obviously worthwhile.
