With all the bad news in threads about Cuba recently, I think this is a nice little story.

"Una Corda" is a charity set up a few years ago to send piano parts to Cuba. Tuners are also travelling over to train Cubans to tune pianos.

Here's a little news bit about it, some nice shots of Havana.

I got in touch with them before I went earlier in the year, at the time I was told that they currently had enough parts and they were concentrating on completing the restoration of the building.

It's a great idea and not often that a charity makes it so easy to do something so obviously worthwhile.

thank you very much for sharing this, I had heard about it some time ago, but always nice to be able to follow up on good projects like this.
