MontrealRon Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Being at the top of the food chain, tuna contains very high levels of mercury. I guess there is some justice in that those who eat it regularly are slowly but surely poisoning themselves...
Colt45 Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 I guess there is some justice in that those who eat it regularly are slowly but surely poisoning themselves... I eat canned tuna (albacore) almost daily. I eat my eggs with the yolks. I eat red meat and dairy. I consume alcohol. I smoke cigars. We're all dying. I try not to be afraid to live. On a side note, KG, you've mentioned Japan any number of times. With regards to tuna you use the term mediterranean - why not Italy and France? I'm assuming so you'll continue to be invited on board your friend's yacht..... (insert smiley of choice here)

I am also in the process of having all the mercury amalgam fillings removed from my teeth. Sure, we're all dying, but I still look both ways before stepping into traffic.

(insert smiley of choice here) I also have mentioned Japan,China, and Canada,Iceland, could also include Spain,Portugal,Italy,France,Turkey, Morroco.....etc Doesn't matter where the boat sailed from, the tuna is still dead, and nearing extinction. Maybe we should refer to the fisherpeople as fisherpeople,or homo sapiens, although that name doesnt fit too well in this instance,in case we offend any of the perportrating nations. semantics. It's just bad farming leading to death of a species.
Colt45 Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 semantics. Make no mistake, I've said it here more than once - I believe humans are the foulest creatures on the planet, and that what we do to animals, we do to ourselves. I still say Ken is a fence sitter.
