rob has been kind enough to deluge me with texts, knowing that i am seriously grumpy i couldn't make the trip this year. very kind of him.

smithy, told him we were doing the gran reserva's for the vid. he expressed no issue with that (i'll even pull out the XO).

one of the guys on the trip - macho - could keep an entire conference of shrinks happy for weeks. with his work, he does more international travelling than most pilots but has never, ever gone anywhere without losing something - sometimes himself. we usually run a book on just what he'll lose and when (our first trip to cuba, i came back via south america while the rest headed home via the states. they set off with four guys and 9 pieces of luggage - they arrived home with three guys and three pieces of luggage. needless to say, macho was missing and so was all his luggage).

chaos on this trip in miami as macho has already lost his luggage. no surprise to anyone - i have been laughing so hard, i think i've done the hernia again. eventually, after half an hour of searching, and you can bet that included some serious berating of airlines, airport staff and the rest of the guys, macho remembered that he had checked it through to the next place. that said, there is every chance that it will still not turn up.
