Punch Royal Selection #12 1998

-Very dark colored Maduro wrapper, not brittle but sort of dry, major vein that doesn’t help out in the looks department at all, Extremely light in hand

-Fruity pre draw

-Toasted nuts and chewy leather meet my mouth at the opening

-Turn my head for one moment and the cigar was out, re-lit and jumped back in the saddle again

-Yummy, loads of cream/coffee/leather

-I like this a lot better than the Punch PC but age probably has something to do with it

-Expresso with a dollop of shaved chocolate comes to mind so far

-Burn rate is really quick, trying to slow it down but really enjoying it so far, loads of flavor crammed in a PC

-Cashew nuts, cream, cocoa and leather all present themselves in a first class manor in the 2/3

-Some spice comes to the party at the end of the 2/3

-Ash is a very light Grey color, layered and tight

-You get your money’s worth in what I consider a smaller sized cigar, I have had other RS#12 but this has been my favorite so far due to the age I am guessing

-Sort of reminds me of a HDM Epi Especial EL from 04 in a smaller form.

-Very tasty cigar and thoroughly enjoyed this time together with it

Nice review Bart...my second favorite Punch cigar...coming in right after the RS11. Will be sad to see them go.
