How bad was your day?

Friday here at the humidor and both Lisa and Smithy were starting to feel the effects of some back to back long weeks. The light is at the end of the tunnel albeit it could be an oncoming train

To humour them today I started by walking smack bang into our newly installed solid glass wall........10 minutes after giving them a speech about the need to be carefull until we stencil the glass It cheered them up no end.

That was 10 am. At 10:20 am I was in front of Lisa's desk looking at a fly which had been buzzing around the reception for a few minutes. With reflexes like a cat I snapped my hand into the air and caught the fly in my vice like grip.

It was a bee.

As I jumped around the room shaking my hand and yelling profanities.....Lisa concerned as she was but on the phone to a supplier....broke into fit's of laughter while proceeding to explain to the supplier what had just happened.

Today...... was not one of my finest days

Work has be VERY busy. FOr 3 weeks nbow been working & days , 12 hours a day. Its BS. I am self employed for the reason that I work when I want. That isnt happening.

I have about 15 custon home builders and 1 developer. Just the developer alone gives me 2 houses a week which turn into 4 out of the 7 days I am there.

You half to try to keep all of them happy without losing it.

Meltdown was yesturday , while putting underlayment down with the sun almost down and no lights. Noone in the construction buisness gives a ratts ass about you or if have a family. All the ask is " Is it finished". These days its about how quick they can build a house and how much $ they can make.

SO I ordered a few aged boxes.

Friday was okay, other than the fact that I had to go back to work on Sat. Sat was a nightmare, since everything was delayed. Didn't finished what was required until 12.30am AEST. What was left of the weekend was almost completely ruined.

Thank goodness got everything working it time.

El Prez, compared to you though I think I had an easier time. But yours is just so damn funny. :-)

Mmm I probably should not tell you about playing volleyball on the sand, smoking a party Shirt at the kids soccer game ( his team won) and then riding my bike home and stopping at a friends house to have a PLPC and Punch punch ...really bad day here ;-)
