Onsto
More a heads up than anything - I'm working in Toronto a lot at the moment and have stuggled to find somewhere that's 'cigar friendly' for a quiet evening smoke - there are plenty of unheated standing only patios for cigarette smokers, but smoking a RASS before you turn blue at minus 10 C is pretty challenging and not entirely enjoyable. A noteable exception is The Drake Hotel (1150 Queen St. West) which has a proper heated outdoor seating area. Its comfortable no matter how cold (although it wouldn't be ideal in the rain) and I noticed a number of patrons smoking cigars - all seemed pretty friendly. I have been there twice on weeknights, it's busy without being packed, although it is apparently extremely busy on Fridays and through the weekends. I get around Canada a fair bit - if anyone has any other suggestions for good places to have a smoke, I'd be interested to hear. Particularly close to Pearson airport - I haven't foud anywhere worthwhile near there.
Justin01
I have hung out and smoked cigars on the drakes patio during the summer, didn't know it was still a great place during the winter, Thanks.
Blackham
I second that, Drake hotel is my #1 spot if I'm around the downtown area. Since I live 30 minutes north of Toronto sometimes I prefer a shorter commute, these are my favorites: http://navarestaurantandbar.com/index.php?type=1 http://www.brixnapavalleygrille.com/ they're right across the street from eachother so if one's full you can do a 2 minute drive to the other one. Brix also features $1 corking fee on monday. Cheers

(forget the name) In front of the LCDH in Yorkville. They serve you complimentary espresso too I believe. Park Hyatt rooftop lounge. Beautiful southern exposure of U of T campus and Queen's Park. Puros Y Vino
We had our first FOH Toronto meet-up at the Drake in Oct. It rained a bit but it was still enjoyable. I might have to try it in the winter.
Cig
I was in Toronto in November and went to the LCDH, by the Four Seasons hotel I believe. It was pretty nice. Heated patio, complimentary espresso... but the prices in Canada are SO HIGH!
ckearns
I walked past LCDH on my lunch-hour today and there was a brave, and I mean brave, BOTL sitting out on the patio enjoying one (only -9 outside ). If this was someone on this forum, kudos! You're a braver man than I.
