Bartolomeo Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 -Gifted from a generous member here -Very slight box press, great color on wrapper with minor wrinkles, well constructed -First cigar in a week since I was in Seattle for business last week -Initial puffs are some chewy leather and nutmeg with some spice on the back of the throat -Flavors include some cedar, cardboard, toasted nuts, sweet wood -Ash says goodbye after first 1.25”, it is a tight Grey layered log -Mild-Medium 1/3 for me then turns Medium in 2/3 -Nice Cuban tobacco flavor present the entire smoke, no doubt about it -Very non-descript flavors in 2/3, just toasted tobacco really is what comes to mind -Started to get a little vile tasting @ end of 2/3 -The last 1/3 was pure old leather in taste -87 min smoke time -I prefer a PLPC over most Petit Coronas -First 1/3 of cigar was good, the remaining parts were OK at best, sort of disappointing -8.4/10 Bart
sungnicholas Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 -First cigar in a week since I was in Seattle for business last week That's the truth...no place to smoke in Seattle. Plus, they have been talking about banning smoking in all city parks as well. Since smoking is banned in bars and restaurants and they closed down the cigar lounges, there will literally be no place to smoke unless you smoke at home or find a hotel that still has smoking in rooms (more and more rare). Sigh.

Quint Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Even your own home won't be saved some towns are making it illegal to smoke in your Condo including your outdoor patio. Thanks for the review these are 1 of my 2 favorite PC's The PLPC being the other. I've had good luck with this cigar a fews years on them and they have been awesome so much so I find myself going to them 3 or 4 times in a row.
