  1. If every picture tells a story as Rod Stewart famously sang, I see myself in that iconic picture of the “Behike” Room at El Laguito that @Ryan posted. Not just because I have almost identical pictures of that room but because we spent that day together as a group of good friends and we must have used the same split second to take the same picture. So here are my pictures and videos of that day in February 2012 with Andy and the others. After we met Jose Antonio S. who was doing QC on the BHK’s, Andy's good friend Bertha gave us a tour of the factory. We then went to Club Habana and had lunch & cigars there. From there we went to my Casa in Miramar, corner of Parque Montebarreto & 84th, where we had more cigars and rum while J.A. Solana cut up a cigar to explain the various leaves inside. Here the pictures of the group meeting at the QC Dept. and of that Behike Room in the first floor. At Club Habana and at my Casa.
  2. Saw this on another site in relation to Alibaba.com A search on "Cohiba" & "box" yields. This Some particularly troubling items. Fake BHK Festival 3 packs. BHK56 Box Also in BHK54 size. Fauxhiba Exquisitos anyone? Made to order SLB's? From the picture, it looks like wine fakery is already underway. And Cohiba 1966 boxes. I could go on. How long until Chinese grown tobacco starts populating these boxes and proliferating world wide? It's one thing to make unlicensed goods that don't resemble any current Habanos offerings. But making copies of current products is going to be a nightmare. Trademarks are near impossible to enforce when it comes to China. It looks like the CC market is going to have a real tough time if these hit the market with cigars inside. Thoughts?
  3. When the BHK line came out in 2010 the cigar world was abuzz. Many tout the original 2010 release Behike's as being the best release. For those of you smoke BHK's frequently, a few questions. As far as 2010 BHK's go. Are they well revered across the board or are they relegated to one or more of the vitolas? I keep reading on how the BHK52's were considered the best. In comparison to the 2010 release. How do you think the 2011 and 2012 BHK's compare? Please take some time to answer the poll questions as well.
  4. Oh yeah! I've seen some nice BHK boxes but this one takes the cake! PSP * 100 for sure! Top of box Open Lid Close up Wow. Just fantastic!! original link
