On the note about positive reinforcement, it's hands down the most effective (and friendly ). Do a quick search on "Clicker Training", you'll be amazed at how well they respond. if you want to really learn to pull a great shot manually, get a Rancilio Silvia (preferably with a PID on it). That will get you as close to a commercial machine under $1k as you can get. The PID will eliminate the temp surfing. You'll figure out what that means as you start to become obsessed. I went this route and would do it all over again. Pair it with a Rocky Grinder and you're set ! I'm not just saying this b/c I'm selling this exact combo either , it's too heavy to ship there, hehe. Show us a pic of your first "god shot". -innova

Hey all, After searching quite a bit, I can't seem to find the answer to a question I've got. I've recently had a few Party Shorts for the first time, and am in love. The only problem is that they're, well, short. I'm picking up what I think* is sweet mushroom off the start, not sure how else to explain it, but it's just fantastic. My question is that if one would like to find a "long" version of the Party Short, what would it be ? Is this profile a Partagas thing, or limited to the short ? Thanks in advance ! -innova

Yeah that Dr. Pepper thing is a hit! Just something about the spice in there that works every time. On the alcoholic side of things, you appear to like the sweet vs dry. I highly recommend Pyrat XO or Zacapa w/ Coke Zero or Diet Coke.. The price point is about $40/bottle which isn't bad at all. Most rhummers think these are way too sweet, but I find they work really well mixed. Sailor Jerry+Coke is a favorite as well if you want a spiced rum. hope this helps. innova.
