  1. The real question is, if you found out that the CCs were blended with Nicaraguan tobacco, would your perception of CC's change?
  2. Too Big to Fail by Andrew Ross Sorkin
  3. when you said pasty, i automatically thought tar.
  4. I'm still debating about getting one, but it's not because of the traditionalist vs. new age debate. I have an apartment so I'm not ready to build a huge library. The thing that's holding me back though is the price tag, wayyy too high.
  5. They're not that bad. It's just plain tobacco flavor until the final third when you get a rush of sweetness. Regardless, as an American, I hope the embargo doesn't go down. CC prices will skyrocket.
  6. Nice pictures Ken. Looks like you had a great time. Looking forward to taking a trip down under sometime soon, maybe for New Years.
  7. Damn, wish I could go ... not 21 yet, lol
  8. ? Is this a joke?
  9. Sadly nothing. School only gave us a couple days off, so I can't fly back to San Diego for Thanksgiving, but my brother and cousin are flying out, so I'm doing Thanksgiving at my cousin's sister's place. We already bought a 25 lbs. turkey and we'll probably get some sort of brisket also since there'll be around 15 people over.
  10. Start training for a half marathon, Rob. When I started training, I took a couple inches off my waist and lost 15 pounds, given I'm already a pretty small guy.
  11. Check out this perspective: http://freakonomics.blogs.nytimes.com/2009...chick-is-great/ Personally, I agree with Bill's call all the way.

Americans know what's up with Kumamotos. Plump, juicy, briny, delicious.
  13. Had a BRC yesterday, great smoke. Bahnofstrasse, which part of San Diego are you from? Just moved from there to NYC for school but I still have family there.
