I tend to lean towards eiroa stuff, like the asylum 13 oblongata maduro, cle prieto 440 and aladino corojo reserve. I find I like a good aged Maduro wrapper.

Since mold requires certain levels of moisture, white being one of the most sensitive, the reason its considered no biggie if it wipes off. So by lowering humidity you are also drying the air which in turn will always make the mold shrink, if I were you I'd still wipe them down to get any remaing traces off the cigars.

That's literally the only path I see too and the one I'm fine walking, it's actually how I'm budgeting all my smoking again. Looking at chicos or puritos and shorts besides jlp and quintero, I still wanna try some vegueros though and will be making it a point to grab at least a 4pk. I also will be still trying my hand at blending a NC to at least try and get what I want out of it and still trying to sample some of the nudies.

A sampler pack is what I'm really interested in, the ability to try a 5er before a bundle is so crucial and splits only seem to happen around releases. I'm super curious to see how they hold up on my quest for a NC I like.
