  1. What about the stamp up the top left of the box would this be the H&F that you’re referring to? I’ve sent him a private mail...might get some further info and better pictures [emoji1303]
  2. They’re going for 100€ on the site. I’d say they were bought in the UK and brought over to the south west of Ireland. Annual relative humidity is between 77-79. Should I be worried about the box code though?
  3. Thanks guys, I’ll take a miss on these so[emoji1303]
  4. Pretty certain he’s using a potato [emoji1303]
  5. I came across a box of apparent vintage montes 4. They’re on a local “seek you stuff” page. They are described as approx 1995 and bought in 1997. Stored on dry conditions([emoji30]) and opened only twice. I’ve done a bit of research online looking to verify the box code but can’t seem to see anything. They do look quite genuine but hopefully somebody on here can shed some light. They are going very cheap!! But as they were no stored correctly in 25 odd years it could also be a problem. Any help??
  6. I also was 21! A buddy I went to school with was working in a cigar shop for a couple of years and had some decent knowledge so he recommended a Zino platinum grand master as it was perfect for beginners! I bought a cheap cutter and a box of matches, went home watched a couple of “how to” YouTube videos. One of the best experiences learning about cigars that night and I was hooked!
  7. She’s coming home.
  8. I’m heading down to Midleton distillery in two weeks time to do the whole works..tour/tasing/buying.... it’s one of the last distillery’s I’ve left to visit in Ireland....I’m surprised it wasn’t my first to be honest... I also highly recommend Teeling....a some what of a new comer, the guys in charge are the sons of John Teeling who sold Cooley Whiskey to Beam Inc in 2011.. they’re doing great things in the liberties(where their distillery’s is located) really worth the visit if you’re ever in Dublin!
  9. I agree with you! I had a bottle (still drank it) but wasn’t totally enamoured by it... quite harsh and a little over powering!
  10. Bravo [emoji1319] would love to have that skill to do a project like this!
  11. Wonderful craftsmanship! Agreed with George, lots of distilled water wipe down with a clean sponge, come back once dry and repeat!
  12. I picked up my first timepiece whilst on a Caribbean cruise last week. I have been eyeing up a Tag for quite a while now and my Apple Watch just didn’t suit my new wedding ring. This is the Aquaracer 41mm Calibre 5. My first of many??
  13. It’s funny, you’re actually right! Bars in Dublin has their busiest Monday all year! By means of an update, the cost of damage has probably reached €1 Billion currently. Dublin got away very lightly!
  14. Me too!! I haven’t come across a box as beautiful as this one though....wow!!! I’d love to see these on 24:24[emoji849]
  15. Didn’t want to add this quote Ryan, didn’t think many would get it[emoji23] Appreciate brother! Getting married on Saturday, don’t think I could manage a session tonight! Enjoy and stay safe!
  16. So I know this isn’t as big as our previous storms over the past couple of weeks but, Ireland is about to experience its largest storm in 50 years. Today pretty much the whole country is on lock down. Schools, Businesses, Public Transport, shopping centre all over the country have closed today in fear of what its to bring. The predicted areas which are to receive the most damage are the south/west parts of the island(Cork, Kerry, Galway, Mayo and Donegal) I’m living in Dublin and although we’re not in the path, already we can feel the wind speeds picking up. If you know Ireland, you’ll know we don’t operate very well in these type of situations ( the country usually collapses when there’s 2inches of snow) so there’s a lot of panic. Already there is 22,000 people in the south west without power. And our electricity supplier for the country advised that a nationwide power loss is to be expected. With the power situation on mind, let’s hope I’m not missing anything too special on 24:24 tonight. Any to any members in the worst affected areas, Stay Safe!! Catch you all when it passes! leon8716
  17. I’ve never come across a box of these in Ireland, when I joined the forum a couple of months back these have been mentioned many times! Delighted to get my hands on a box!
  18. Think Peterson’s got some free publicity on this one, I was on my way into the city tomorrow to ask questions! [emoji51]
  19. I picked up a HdM Las Palmas Extra in December 14, next box I bought was on here last month.
  20. Nothing Fugly here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. 100% believe in this. It's not the cigar you enjoyed, but rather who you enjoyed it with!
