  1. I got this box 8 months ago, I somked one ROTT and even though I liked it, decided to let it rest. This weekend review was the perfect opportunity to revisit them. I can only say that the rest has been good for these. Tasty tobacco, smooth taste. Smoke production was little, but since I was smoking in the car no complaints there. Draw was a little closed (more than normal) but it could be explained by the cut I did (very conservative, did not want to unravel on me). The flavors were awesome, a little of spice, some floral hints and in general a peaceful experience. Considering that I was in the morning commute traffic it was perfect. I would score this 93 Jose Sent from my HD1910 using Tapatalk

  2. Finally decided to break in one of these. Weather did not help, as it was still cold outside, even in a covered smoking area the wind was really chilly. Fist impressions were as if I was smoking an aged Punch Punch or a Black Prince. Very "Punch-y" flavors, creamy, peanuts. After a while I realized that this is a really elegant smoke, flavor progression was a little bit lacking, but noting to really complain about. I will have to smoke some more later in the year At this moment I will give it a 90 Jose Sent from my HD1910 using Tapatalk

  3. The roller at the store, Carlos Fernandez would offer to tweak the regular blend more to your tastes and in 2014-2015 he was offering a Cohiba GR blend as an option. I would think it was not completely the same, but I tried a Corina Gorsa that had a resemblance to it. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

  6. These are made by Boveda. Check the fine print Being the market leader it is difficult to find a competitor. O would try them to see what happens. No expensive experiment Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  7. I've never had the patience to watch a video review until I found FOH. On written reviewers i like the reviews from Charles Minato and Brooks W from Halfwheel (I prefer those over Brian and Patrick's), William Cooper (Coop Cigar) and Stogie Review Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

  10. I have not seen The Sopranos, but in the Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Mad Men, etc. Game of Thrones is up there with them Even to avoid the spoiler discussion that happens everywhere on Monday I would recommend you watch it Jose Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

  13. While preparing to drive back from a neighboring city 100 miles away from home I got to think about if I should smoke a cigar during the drive. I am glad I decided to do it. And even better that I picked this Punch Punch Two of the first five boxes of Cuban cigars I bought were Punch cigars, so there was a time this was my preferred marque. However, times change and availability is not always there so, anyway to the review The cigar was very box pressed, I could had passed it as a NC cigar; however flavor was present in spades. Tobacco, peanuts and a floral, sweet undertone that kept me trying to guess what it was and I couldn't figure it out. The draw was a little open and at the end there was a bit of a tunnel as shown in the picture. But in overall, I was reminded how much I like Punch and definitely need to get another box for the future. Jose Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

  15. After trying to get a box to compare the flavors, I decided to break into the vault and try this QdO Corona. To have around 9 years of age and still have the strong taste and spiciness surprised me. After a few puffs the flavors subside and I started to pick a roasted nuts aftertaste in the retrohale. The spice comes and goes together with the nuttiness and some cream at the middle of the cigar. The final third comes too fast and a dark charred flavor develops which I can only think it was because I was smoking a little fast. I really enjoyed this cigar and I look forward to get a box of the new bands and compare. Cheers! Jose Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  16. Scammed? Probably. Knowingly purchasing some suspect cigars, yes. My daughter once gifted me a box of CoRo some Cubans were selling in an arts festival in Mexico a few years back. I did try them, but I was sure they were fakes. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

  21. The weather finally helped and give me the opportunity to try this. For the MRW, decided to go with a Dantes that was part of a sampler I got two years ago and had been resting in one of the singles humidors It was paired with red wine, a Mexican Nebbiolo from Guadalupe Valley which created some clashes as it may not had been the best combination, enough about that. The Dantes started very Woody, with lots of cedar and a hint of cream in the retrohale. After a few puffs the creamy character started to ramp up and dominated the flavors. I was somehow concerned, since I could not detect changes in the profile until halfway through the cigar, where white pepper appeared o counterbalance the creaminess. The cedar returned for the last third and was a little too much of a repeat of the starting flavors. Last time I tried one of these was about a year ago, and it was too cedary and unidimensional, this time the creamyness was there for at least half of it, I believe that one more year will do wonders for this LE. Looking forward to it. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  22. I did, as I bid on a couple of lots I was interested in. Definitely overpriced, I was trying to get a box of Ingenios stopped biding at 250 pounds, it was sold for 700! Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
