i am not surprised , last few months the quality of CC is really horrible here in Czech republic , million miles away from what we could get 4 -6 years ago.... only some exceptions : LE are quite OK and some COHIBAs are OK

strange ... i found that there are many NC that are sweeter than CC , also NC are like "flavour to the face " most of CC are about flavour nuances and actually there are not any CC which can stay against NC in term of STRENGHT....

I agree with BRC ... i have few boxes of ten from AUG 13 ARG and these are perfect... also nontubos ULA JUL 14 are nice but not so...

You are right. BRC ULA are perfect flavorful... but very loose draw ... tubos version are much better in this department

just do not expect standart like you have in Dominican republic, Mexico, Jamaica... :-) if you want beautiful beach and mediocre standart then RIO DE LUNES y MARES is nice, In Varadero : Iberostar chain and also BLAU ....

for me best pepper / spice are NC ( Jaime Garcia reserva especial , Oliva V belicoso, ... ) in that intensity there are not any CC which are close enough

i'm smoking both CC and NC .... CC are still my TOP's (Connie A, BRC , RyJ WCH ) but NC ( Ashton VSG , Oliva V, Oliva V Melanio, Padron 1964, ... ) are each time close and close and there are tons of a new smokes ( AJ FERNANDEZ , CROWNED HEADS , ... ) that are really good .... so i see good progress in nicaraguan and dominican cigars mainly.... in CC bigger parts are mediocre , but i agree if you find proper rolled stick with right beautifull wrapper = still TOP 1

2013 BOLIVAR ROYAL CORONA tubos version - one of the best , it is strange that versus nontube version --> this one is stronger, more flavourful , feels heavier and bigger (not box-pressed)
