  1. I'm afraid that you are wrong regarding total medals count per capita in London. NZ is not leading – it is Slovenia (4 medals with population of 2 millions).
  2. If you can wait for Heartfelt Ind. After 6 years I am still using David’s 65% beads in most of my humidors without any problem. In meantime you can use any other short term solution.
  3. I understand that you are in the phase of building your cigar stock – we all have been there. It is a good decision that you bought some older cigars for allowing younger to get properly aged. If you will continue doing this you will have sooner than you think great stock of cigars, mixture of aged and new ones. There is no reason not to smoke older right away; maybe you can leave few of them for comparison with younger/different cigars which you will accumulate in the process.
  4. Every cigar which comes in vicinity of my humidors has to be freeze. And freeze by me! Habanos S.A. is saying that they are freezing cigars before shipping; distributors don’t want to have infected stock and they say that they are doing it as well. And me … well you already know. If other two parties are doing their job (and for sure I DO NOT trust them) then all my cigars are frozen 3 times. Many will say that this is excessive – but I never had beetle infection in 18 years … and my cigars taste great.
  5. Cigars in China are following trend of other “luxury” items. It is like wine trend started few years ago – everyone is drinking Bordeaux now (and most still have no idea how a decent wine should taste). In years living in China I met just few locals who really appreciate Cuban cigars – most others were looking on them as business related communication tool.
  6. At Dubai Airport LCDH you can occasionally find this releases (I remember H. Upmann Travel Humidor with Robustos). But you are right – they are not widely available in Duty Free Shops. Their managers usually know what people are buying and they are ordering same items over and over (+ EL).
  7. RE Humidors with PL Robustos and RA Belicosos are looking really great!
  8. Good to hear that they are now better stocked with RE – many times I had to shop at Christoph’s in Hamburg. Waiting for some pics. Pay attention to PL Lonsdales as they are very tight rolled (but one of the best blends of RE in many years).
  9. Between 15 and 20 (2-3 per day).
  10. I was really disappointed with Punch Robusto (RE Swiss 2007). They are loosely rolled, one-dimensional and boring.
  11. + 1 regarding LCDH in Cologne. Peter and Andeas are great guys but they are not well stocked with RE most of the time.
  12. VR Famosos from 2001 (CVA NOV 01) are still one of the best cigars in my humidor.
  13. 3 Blade Scissors (poorly made but if you have few of them you have no problems).
