  1. bought a few Bolivar Petit Coronas, never had anything from Bolivar but I've been meaning to try some lately. Cant wait to fire these up.
  2. NC for me tonight, a Davidoff Special R robusto, these are usually solid performers for me but this one was a dud. It was harsh, bitter, and just overall was not good. A rare occurrence with Davidoff in my experience.
  3. HdM for me last night, first third was absolutely divine, in the middle it was a bit under filled so it became a bit of a harsh wind tunnel, but i battled through it and the rest was great.
  4. Had a great Monte 4 tonight, the ash really held onto this stick.
  5. Siglo I for me today while watching sopranos. This cigar is quickly becoming one of my favorites as of late. They've been right on the money for me the last couple of smokes.
  6. Romeo y Julieta no.2 for me tonight, pretty bland and one dimensional, probably will let the other 2 i have sit for a while.
  7. Non-cuban for me today, a Davidoff Special R Robusto. It was very good and in the first third has a very unique flavor on the finish that was very reminiscent of Jameson. Very interesting. Watching Sopranos again.
  8. Went with a monte 4 today after a long day while watching my favorite show, the sopranos. Wasn't the best no 4 I've had but it was still very good. A lithe bland for the first 15 mins or so, but then it really opened up and some nice flavors came through and the mediocre smoke output improved. All in all, not a bad way to unwind and finish the day.
  9. the one thing i love about davidoff is the cigar always has superb construction, perfect draw, everything. They are expensive but you know you are going to have a great smoking experience every time you light one up. The Nicaragua is a great smoke as is the 2000.
  10. Can't help you on the lease info, but I will recommend going with the BMW over the Mercedes. IMO the BMW is just such a better driving experience, they handle so beautifully, especially the 3 series. Just my 2 cents.
  11. Siglo I for me, what a fantastic little smoke, usually don't smoke my cigars down to the nub but couldn't put this one down. The wrapper is not that dark, for some reason my iPhone loves making pictures 10X darker than they actually are. Total smoke time was an hour, and it had all the classic flavors you would expect from a Cohiba. Had some burn issues but I attributed that to the wind, and it didn't detract from the experience. Will definitely be picking up more of these in the future, i really like this small vitola.
  12. just picked up a 3 pack of the no.2 tubos, i agree, good consistent smokes
  13. Gonna look into these, the only HdM i've tried was the epicure no2, they are fantastic and I'm sure these are just as good
  14. love that cohiba ashtray, and those maduro 5's are great smokes
  15. Was gonna light up a siglo i, but it seems i'm coming down with a cold or something. Nothing worse than when you really wanna smoke something but you're sick, no point seeing as how I'm congested and would barely be able to taste it.
  16. gonna have to pick some of these up, i'm intrigued
  17. saw it last night, it was really good
  18. Smoked an Epicure no. 2 tonight, it was very good as to be expected with these, although this one had a bit of a tight draw. Not bad enough to ruin the experience.
  19. I think Fuente makes some of the best non-cuban cigars, the hemingway short story is a great smoke
  20. coffee is my favorite non-alcoholic drink to pair with a cigars, depending on the cigar it just seems to mesh so well
  21. Used to smoke pretty much all NC, until i discovered how easy it is to buy them online. To me, i can't see any reason to spend $8-10 on a NC romeo/monte etc when I can have the really version around the same price.
  22. I'm on Long Island, south shore in suffolk
  23. they look very dark but that is just because of the crappy lighting in the room. Just came in today from <moderated>, only took ****, can't wait to fire them up but definitely going to let them rest and age for a while.
  24. Hi guys, i'm from NY, been smoking cigars for about 2 years. I have had cubans before but just really starting to get into them now, it just makes more sense to get a superior product that can be had for around the same price-point as many non cubans. I just recently got my first online order, 5 siglo i, 5 monte 4, 3 hoyo epicure no 2, 3 romeo y julieta no 2. Letting them rest in the humidor for a while. I look forward to posting here more and looking through the forums.
