  1. » Hi there » » I see some familiar names here . Great to have finally joined here » myself. » See you around the site! » » Cheers » Michelle There goes the neighborhood...:-D
  2. Hey Ricky. small world, eh?
  3. » Just want to say I like the tone and feel of this board. The information » contained within goes beyond any other board.. » As you can probably tell from my handle I'm a Union Elect. for the last » 28 years. I've enjoyed cigars for 20 of them. Turning to Cubans mostly on » special occasions now it seems there a special occasion every day. I tend » to lean towards full flavor like BBF and Partagas Line, more specifiably, » PSD4, PSP2 and Shorts... On the other end of the coin, I like La Flor Dom. » FP II's, Littto Gomez Small Batch 1. And anything from Pete Johnson... » » » IBEW Welcome aboard.
  4. Wow! That was very nice of you to share with us. Thanks.
  5. » The late '03 Partagas de Partagas is a superb example of the fact that you » just can't pigeon-hole a cuban cigar. This cigar has a reputation as an » in-your-face, rustic and strong smoke. Not this baby. Not in the least. » Mine are as smooth and subtle as they come, with loads of twang, sweet » wood and delicate spices. I wouldn't call them sophisticated and complex, » but they are surely a connoisseur's smoke. » » Here, several hours after burning one of those suckers on a sunny » afternoon, I can still taste the sweet wood, and my mouth waters with » tangy citrus. Now that's a great cigar! A great buy, too. I am letting mine rest for a few weeks, then i will have to light one up.
  6. That turned out really nice.

  11. Welcome.
  12. I have to agree with this review. Now, to wait another 10 years to see what it would be like is the difficult part.
  13. Wow, it did not take long for you to fill it up.

  15. Hello, Dale. You are a familiar face.
  16. » » » I am new to the forums here. My name is Dave. » » » » Welcome Dave. A man of few words is a rare commodity here » » And as such, tell us a little about yourself Dave. » Oh, welcome to FOH. Thanks for the warm welcome. I am fairly new to cigars. A friend of mine introduced me to a good one (Monte No.2) about 9 months ago. Since then, I have obtained an Aristocrat Mini, my torch lighter, a Palio and Xikar cutter, a Stinky ashtray, a humble collection of cigars and numerous friends who enjoy this hobby with me in person and virtually. I suppose I am another one sliding down the so called slope. I find it most difficult to decide on what my next purchases will be whenever I am getting ready to shop. I think their are so many good cigars out there, that it can be overwhelming. Things like aged vs. new, this vitola vs. that one, this brand vs. that one, a new cigar to me vs. one that I have had and enjoyed...crazy making sometimes. My favorite part about cigar smoking is being able to sit down with a friend and discuss life and cigars over a nice drink and cigar.
