  1. It was a huge shunt, big airtime.
  2. If RBR give the upgraded PU to Max then it's confirmation that we have another Seb/Webber situation. Looks like they are getting 4 tenths gain on the upgrade. Really keen to see how everyone goes on the Ultrasoft, will only be a one stop barring any rain.
  3. That James Allen article on the race is probably the most balanced review of the GP I've read so far. The pic of Max getting out of the car with Dr Marko in the background shows Ricciardo everything he needs to know about his future at RBR, regardless of how much pace he has in the car.
  4. Max is incredible, so calm under pressure. Though it looked like Red Bull performed the under cut on their driver that was leading the race.. Lewis & Nico just a racing incident, I can't wait for Monaco now!
  5. Party Shorts and Boli PC are usually my go to cigars. Haven't smoked a cigar in about 3 months due to time but I lit up a Boli PC on the weekend and it just didn't fill me with the luster it normally does. So I picked up a JL Numer 2 the following day (DIC 10 code I think) and bang I'm back on Robusto sized cigars - I went through 2 more that day. This week has been a bugger & I can't wait to knock off so I can get stuck into a few Boli Royal Corona's. Not sure if the cooler weather has something to do with my shift. I usually like a heavier smoke when it's cold.
  6. The TJI ignition that Merc & Ferrari are using on their combustion engines is some really cool stuff. Looks like Renault will have it from Canada onwards, though no mention of Honda. They reckon somewhere in the region of a 30bhp increase. RBR could definitely use those 3 tenths. Mark Hughes explains -http://www.motorsportmagazine.com/opinion/f1/revealed-tji-engine-update
  7. Dream week for F1 Journalists & Pundit's with RBR driver swap. I'm really keen to see how Max & Danny Ric compare in the same car. Also how Carlos does against Kyvat.
  8. I have a single Monte A that I have been storing for the last 3 years, I'm saving it for when I turn 30 next year in January. I've been looking forward to it for so long as I enjoy a long smoke time.
  9. Only reason I want to see RB do their 'own' engine is to see Newey & Mario Illien back together Alla Mclaren days, it can only be a good thing! Probs poach a few sharp Cosworth guys from around the traps as well.
  10. F1 Pit Lane Reporter/Journalist OR F1 Engine or Chassis Designer for one of the top F1 teams OR F1 no1 Driver for Ferrari.
  11. Will see if I can dodge the boss and leave work a bit early to head down to FOH HQ this arvo.

    Fallout 4

Big fan of the series, got it on pre-order & timed it well finishing play throughs of Fallout 3 and New Vegas recently so I'm all up to date on my lore.
  13. Those Monecarlos...
  14. The race was routine and borning but I'm loving Romain's driving at the moment, a lot more happening off the track than on. How's that Ron Dennis interview on Skyf1 and the footage of Niki talking to Ron after his pre-qualifying comments. Wouldn't hurt Ron to rock a bit of Mclaren team wear every once in a while. Classic Alonso 'GP2 engine' comments, with the President of Honda attending the race. No way it was a coincidence that we didn't see any Merc footage on Sunday's race - the puppet master at it again.
  15. Got to love the F1 circus which happens around this time of the year, driver changes, engine changes & tyre changes for next year and the puppet master Bernie at the centre of it all. It should be an interesting race if it's wet, and all eyes on how the Merc's can recover from last race.
  16. Would be good to see the prancing horse take the top step of the podium this weekend, PR dream for ferrari - just hope the tyres don't explode!
  17. I'm off the booze until further notice but plan on enjoying one of the aged Monte 2's I picked up on a recent 24:24 tonight and then heading out to Willowbank on Saturday to watch some drag racing for the annual Jamboree
  18. Although it was a Mercedes 1-2 again I thought that the race weekend was entertaining overall, really glad for Romain and Max and Kvyat put on some good moves. It was good to see Force India up there as well. Seeing the master Bernie work his magic on those dairy farmers was classic!
  19. Glad we get to see the Iceman in F1 for another year, I agree with their decision.
  20. Sir Winstons and Hoyo DC's, also 50 Cabs of RASS / PLPC . Just could never pull the trigger on spending that much coin for a cab.
  21. Tost and Helmut Marko are the biggest flogs in the paddock
  22. How's ol mate Kimi in the press conference just ripping that reporter a new one. Classic.
  23. I agree MIKA, he's getting a lot of coaching - I think he holds a lot of promise as a driver but the political game is a whole other animal. I feel he should have just copped it on the chin and moved on. Luckily it's a long weekend on the East coast which makes these hellish qualitfying and race times for the Canadian GP bearable, just barely.
