'71 Santa Felipa Longfellow

mk05

There were 3 boxes ever produced in 1971, 1 box in each size: the #1 which is a lonsdale, the Longfellow which is a Ninfa, and the Mundiales which is a robusto extra.

My personal favorite is the Mundiales which is just devine. I would say the #1 is a sharper cross section of the Mundiales that isn't as complex as the Mundiales. Ayala got to smoke that one this particular night, and I believe he loved it.

This one is the Longfellow, and it gets right to the point. There's a loss of complexity for sure, but for what it lacks, it picks up in intensity and concentration of a couple flavors. This fellow is a powerhouse. Mainly Punch-like, with some LGC #1. The #1 is mainly Punch with some LGC #2 and Hoyo DC (pre-97 variety). The Mundiales is very Punch and RyJ Churchill (pre-97 variety) - extremely complex.
