Mr. Japan Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Hey Rob, so you are not of Spanish origins but the truth has come up last night when a friend bringed me a bottle of Champagne . Your ancestors is Edmond Ayala, originated from Colombia ;-) that in the 1850 opened in Ay (the heart of Champagne area) a winery. Enjoyed this fine champagne owned by Bollinger with Sachertarte and a Siglo from Cohiba, I believe this wine is very good with a meal as it was really "vinousus" http://www.champagne-ayala.fr/en/wines/brut_majeur/index.php
bunburyist Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 how did it taste? bitter? sour? feminine? I have to say though, it'd be well worth getting yourself a bottle pres - the comedy value to be had from offering ladies: ''would you like to drink some Ayala?'' ...is too good to miss. Shall find some of my namesake vino pronto....
stargazer14 Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Man, I'm jealous. I looked up something cool with my name and only came across a woman to cheap to buy nail clippers. I'm going to have to start brewing my own beer again or something.
