Ken Gargett Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 not to touch on topics from which i have outrageously been banned but i must say, i can think of no better place to bring 'em! "I don't see any contradiction in this." - KEN PAGANO, the pastor of the New Bethel Church in Kentucky, who is encouraging members of his congregation to bring guns to church on Saturday.
Guest rob Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I wrote a reply to this... then thought better of it and deleted it. I'm sure I'd offend someone if I didn't.

I'm sure I'd offend someone if I didn't. if it was me, fire away. if it was the prez, definitely fire away. if it was anyone else, still fire away. don't leave us hanging. we can turn the other cheek.

We all did. The reason behind it was for a 1 hr period after mass where we shot pidgeon roosting around the church. We shot them. the women cleaned them and we had roasted Pidgeon for dinner wih 100 other people. Great times 1
Guest rob Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 It wasn't you or gun enthusiasts/haters who would have been offended, Ken.

My family in Italy brought me out to do the same to the quail that were on their property.

Colt45 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 For someone claiming to dislike guns as much as you do, you seem to have quite the obsession with them.
BlackFriar Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 taking guns to church to deprive the world of rats with wings is a perfectly legitimate use for guns, if anything is. so is shooting pigeons. How do you feel about guns and telstra? You think you might get better service?
Ken Gargett Posted June 26, 2009 Author Posted June 26, 2009 For someone claiming to dislike guns as much as you do, you seem to have quite the obsession with them. i just thought it a curious concept. i most certainly am not obsessed. think i have had about two conversations about them outside the forum. but i would have thought someone could have an obsession about something whether they liked/disliked, approved/didn't approve. i don't see a conflict with that?
