I had something similar happen to me a few weeks back. A churchill sized cigar purchased and smoked in a lounge turned to crap.

But as you did, I stuck with it.

As an aside, is that an epicure 1 or 2? (I know you said 1, but the shot makes it look more the robusto)

Makes you wonder if it would have smoked better if you lit the head instead of the foot. Anbody ever done that because the head was so mangled like this cigar?

I had a cigar do this in Las Vegas once when I took it outside in the 100 degree plus ultra dry heat. The cigar had been in perfect condition beforehand.
