Ken Gargett Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I am spending a few days in the region of Galicia, Spain in a few months and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to vineyards to visit or wines to try not specifically familiar with the region but have been to nearby bilbao. always think that by far the best thing about the gugg there is the building itself. and get ready to eat buckets of cod, though buggered if i can see the fuss. most famous galician wine is albarino - timely given that it has come on leaps and bounds here and now been exposed as not albarino at all but rather sauvigin - sauvignon blanc. so try the real thing. it is a terrific white.
TDCOOK Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Ken i have to agree with you.. your analysis was spot on... Excellent territory for for Sauvingnon Blanco!
