PoohBore Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 I have been fortunate enough to get some cigars brought back from Cuba for me. Following all the great advice and reviews on here and a UK forum I think I made some very good choices.
jquest63 Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Good Golly! We should all be so forturnate. You've made more than very good choices, those are excellent selections. Smoke in Good Health!
PointSource Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 This reminds me of the business card scene in "American Psycho"... 'Impressive.......Very nice.' *swallows* awesome pics!!!!!!!
perfectform Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Am I delusional or do the bands on the Genios look a little suspect?
android Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Am I delusional or do the bands on the Genios look a little suspect? I agree??????
jeromeroselli Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Absolutely suspect. All maduro 5's should still have three rows of checks. You should do a little digging to make sure your friend bought these in an LCDH.
PoohBore Posted May 12, 2009 Author Posted May 12, 2009 Am I delusional or do the bands on the Genios look a little suspect? I think you are right about the Genios. They are my step dad's cigars that he asked me to store in my humidor until his is seasoned. The cigar labels only have 2 rows of dots above the name whereas the box of secretos from a shop in Cuba and also a single i bought in the UK have 3 rows. My step dad mentioned when I rang earlier that they got the genios from "a man whose brother works in the factory and gets staff discount " The rest of the cigars have the shop price tags on and they have the receipts so they are ok. I Don't know whether i have the heart to tell him though.

Gosh, I'm a Newbie and I admit I know very little about cigars, but one thing I do know, and that is, those cigars look mighty fine!
