Mr. Japan Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Ferrari in Australia is not lucky in the past years but congrats to Mr.Brawn .
MIKA27 Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Ferrari in Australia is not lucky in the past years but congrats to Mr.Brawn . I beg to differ there considering Ferrari won the following Melbourne GP's; - 2000 - M.Schumacher - 2001 - M.Schumacher - 2002 - M.Schumacher - 2004 - M.Schumacher - 2007 - K.Raikkonnen Not a bad result, 5 years of wins out of 9.
stargazer14 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Seems the Golden Boy is loosing his sheen... "Hamilton loses Aussie GP points" http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/motorsport...one/7978186.stm
IceChant Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Good maybe that will stop any team to think before they'll play dirty.
MIKA27 Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Good maybe that will stop any team to think before they'll play dirty. One can only hope BUT I do not believe this will stop some teams from playing dirty. When it includes money from sponsors etc (Look what happened to Honda) sponsors are pulling out of racing due to the current economy (ING are pulling out of Renault next year), I think alot of teams will do anything to win points, especially for the constructors points. I wonder if Hamilton really was following team orders or if he made up some of the story and his team are only covering for him?
Fuzz Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I'm more inetrested in what the fall out will be after the Malaysian F1 GP race stoppage. Bernie's idea of running a twilight race is ridiculous, especially after being told they needed to start the race an hour early to avoid a very possible washout. Anyone who has ever lived in Malaysia knows the monsoonal rain comes everyday between 4pm and 6pm. I wonder what other dumb ideas Bernie will come up with? I'm sure the day hedrops dead, there'll may many a celcbration in F1 circles.
MIKA27 Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 That's 2 twilight races that have now proved to be dismal in that they have both posed dangers to drivers. The Melbourne GP had alot of sun glare closer to the last few turns as the sun began to set and the Malaysian GP as we all know, was a washout. Had the race been an hour earlier, it would have been a great event. Bernie really needs to start listening to the drivers because all he is concerned about is his pocket and not driver safety.
storeroomjeff Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Bernie is very arrogant and greedy. He IS the reason ther is no longer an F1 race held in North America.
