Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can give some advice on a box of San Cristobal Merceders. I found them at a local shop that is trustworthy... but just to be safe. The boxes they have have are dark finish, wood and no seals on the wooden box, but the owner of the shop pulled the wood box out of a cardboard box that had the Hananos stamp and the seal for cuba. The wood box also has a little plated toward the bottom right that says "la casa del habano".. Does anyone know if this sounds like a box of real Habanos or is it a knock off.

Cheers, Martin

Without seeing any pictures the box seems to be fine. I have boxes of San Cristobal Oficios and Cohiba Genios. Both of which came in cardboard boxes with the box codes and warrantly seals affixed to the cardboard and not the varnished boxes. The CA website just put a an article about this. Take a look, it's on the main apge right now.
