I guess I can't find the thread where we discuss all the news on the new releases for 2009? Can someone steer me in the direction of it?

If it hasn't been discussed yet then what's coming out, how much is it going to be and when can we buy it!?!?!

Let me give you the quick/abridged version.

Montecristo Open was released the Monday night. 4 sizes....Eagle, Master, Regatta, Junior.

I wasn't sure if they were trying to achieve a Montecristo Lite or a Guantanamera Fuerte.

I suggested changing Master to "Master Bater" for the person wanting to be seen to have a real cigar....but couldn't handle one.

Not sure when they will be released. Don't really care.

Wednesday saw the Release of the Trinidad Robusto "T"

Very good Robusto albeit very young. This cigar has a richness that the Robusto extra lacks. The samples we tasted were very much like a Trinidad Reyes in a Robusto format.

Should be out by May. No idea on pricing.

Friday saw the release of the Cohiba Gran Reserva.

5 year old Siglo VI's. I will review one within the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately I fell a little ill toward the end of the week and didn't try my allocation.

Should be out May/June. Pricing will be expensive.

What about the earlier teases with the LE's? The Noelle jar and all that? Any news or views?

Didn't personally see this years LE's. Saw the Partagas and Upmann Jars. Gorgeous. They should be available shortly (30-60 days).

I know it's crystal ball gazing now, but what price whould you anticipate for the jars when they're released?

what chance the trini's will remain in that form? we have seen too many cigars at festivals that looked stunning, and often for the initial releases, and then faded. are they addressing that?

Obviously I am not Rob, but I would bet that you can count on Habanos to do

what they always do and PLAN on the first being great and the rest being half-

great. Never seen it go any other way.

Hello Brad.

I'm very curious what your review is on the Cohiba Gran Reserva Rob. Kinda interested in this smoke.

I really have no idea on Jar prices and availability as yet. Once I do...I will let you all know.

Each year HSA is making strides in quality control. I don't thinks the Partagas P2 have declined in quality since first release. I have high hopes for the Trinidad Robusto "T"

We will be reviewing the Gran Reserva next week :D

Rob...

Did they give any clues to the release date of the Trinidad Robusto T? Whether boxes or the AT.

EDIT to add...Woops, I missed the answer in Post #2...May (hopefully)
