I can't comment on 2008 Punch Punch. But I've got a dress box from September 2007 that are fantastic. They don't look great, or have much aroma at cold. But they smoke beautifully. Kind of like a stronger, more complex Petit Coronas del Punch. I've never had a Punch Punch from another box, so I'm not sure if it's the typical profile.

I'd love to hear how these are doing also - I just had my first few Punch Petite Punch out of an 08 box and I love them! One of the best cigars I have had fresh. Excellent with a morning coffee.

I will order a few more boxes, but am now interested in its relationship to the Punch Punch.

I purchased a couple of 08 singles but gifted them to friends at a party recently. From reports they appear to be pretty good with some of the nutty flavours coming through at this early stage. I think they did appear to need just a little more time in the humidor to let the flavours settle. But they seem to be very good now. I tried the super selection No 1 2008 and it was a ripper I thought. Could do with more time but, hey, life's meant to be lived. I tried the petitie corona at xmas and it was good too.

All recent Punch I have sampled have been great to excellent..Punch Punch, SS1, Punch Petit Corona. Petit Punch. IMO it has been the comeback Marca.

The 08 Punch Punch is good but needs a year to develop. 06 Cabs are as good as I have seen.

Based on this thread I pulled one out of an '08 box, and am finishing it up as I type. It shows good promise, though obviously still quite young....Lately I've been working my way through a box from'98 that are really amazing!!!!! too bad they're almost gone now
