Chicago Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Very interesting matchup tomorrow. Does anyone have any predictions or insights into the game?
Colt45 Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Very interesting matchup tomorrow. Does anyone have any predictions or insights into the game? In my opinion, it's all won in the trenches. If the Card's O line can give Warner and his receivers just a little time, I think it's a game. If they get up two TDs let's say, and their D line can pressure 'Berger, they stand a very good chance. Conversely, if Pitt's very good defense has their way, it's a long day for the Cards, especially if the Pitt offense can control the clock. If either team can run the ball, it'll be very interesting. I'm not a fan of either team, so I'm just hoping for a good game.
rckymtn22 Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 I hope it is a well played game with lots of back and forth action. This game are very rarely well played and turns in to a Super Bore with all the excitement during the commercial breaks. But saying that I predict a Steelers win. The Cardinal bubble has to burst sometime. I did think that last year with the Giants and look what happened last year.

But all you have seen that Arizona has proved all experts wrong. Playing with youth, heart and an experienced QB in Kurt Warner. I like the Steeler defense and it will be hard for Arizona to come through. All Warner has to do, is do what he has been doing all though out the playoffs. Throw to Bolden and Larry Fitzgerald and run James. I am picking Arizona Cardinals.
DocRKS Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 The 'accepted' wisdom in Baseball is that good Pitching beats good hitting...in Football (USA variety) Good Defense beats Good Offense... So if the rule stays in effect vs. the exception - the Steelers win by 7+... Sentimentally - I am cheering a bit for the Cardinals.... They haven't won a football title since Moses came off the mountain - Pitt has 5 titles - so let the underdog come up big here.... As others have posted above - I'm just hoping for a good game and some team playing TO WIN....rather than playing NOT TO LOSE !!!! As my Team - the NY Giants did not make it into the Super Bowl - (after they won it all last year) this year's outcome is not life or death like it was last year... I just don't want a Super Bore game...
ironpeddler Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 I just hope Arizona doesn't loose by more than 6 points! Go Cardinals!
Van55 Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Pittsburgh - 24 Arizona - 7 It will be a yawner, I fear.
anacostiakat Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Very interesting matchup tomorrow. Does anyone have any predictions or insights into the game? Steel town. . .
El Presidente Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 If your the Cards no use being conservative and playing a trench game. Throw baby throw and give God the chance to throw the dice.

txraddoc Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Steelers. Rip your head off type defense! Hopefully it will be a good game. Everyone enjoy!
smokem Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Great game from what I saw (was trying to get things done around the house)! The closest I've ever come to predicting a final score, perhaps I see a new future for myself.
