Oh yes he was no angel to but this film was made in 1933 and i think he came to power around that time..

jimmy, fantastic post. it is all so familiar yet different. there are a lot of people who should rot in a very hot place for eternity for what they have done to the island, the people and that beautiful city.

shop windows in the clip were interesting, compared to now and the way the people dressed. always with such great pride. i always feel that the cubans of today dress in a similar manner - that is, with pride in themselves - it is just that the clothes they have are of such lsser quality than was worn back then. cubans always are dressed as well as they can and clothes always clean. it is us visitors that are scruffy.
