Spartan
I keep a small humidor at work with a few Padrons and a few CC's. I havent tapped into it for a couple of weeks, yesterday I opened it and I noticed the smell of tobacco was almost nonexistant. each stick was almost devoid of it's flavorful aroma. The humidity source is a jar of gel which looked fine. Safe to say humidity is the culprit? What is the fate of the cigars?
Colt45
It's just my opinion, but I find that cigars retain their juicy, stinky aromatics best when kept in very close proximity to each other. For example, I think they always smell better when kept together in their box/cab versus loose in a humidor. I don't know that your cigars will suffer from their storage conditions - perhaps check the humidor's humidity, and smoke one and let us know.
