mongboy
Nice looking, box pressed little stick. Got a little carried away with the creamy, cocoa/raisin goodness of these when I first got them and only have 3 left. Haven't had one for a while so curious to see how they've evolved. Clipped the cap and found a nice divot. Draw was pretty much spot on. Prelight flavours of almond and leather. 1st 1/3rd Lots of smoke with a toasty aroma. Creamy cocoa flavours come through pretty much straight away. Middle 1/3rd The creamy cocoa is still predominant. There is a hint of the famous RA raisin coming through along with a bit of spice. Last 1/3rd Unfortunately the raisin flavour doesn't stick around and the spice comes through along with the ever present cocoa. Quite a tasty little stick. Would like to have had more of the raisin flavour. Stab in the dark score; 88/100.
Don Candido
Thanks for the review mongboy. After the third review of these recently, I still have the same reaction. I need to try these...
aavkk
I havent had a chance to smoke any of these from 06. Thanks for the review. Wouldn't it be great if they offered these in cabs!
Professor Twain
Thanks for the great review. These are great cigars. Along with the Monte 5s and Trini Reyes they are cigars that are perfect for smoking when you have 45 minutes for a cigar.
