» for the wonderful tobacco stains on your teeth?

I've read where you can use the ash mixed with water as toothpaste... but don't have the bollocks to try it!

Laser whitening or bleaching at the dentist. Get it done with your regular cleanings.

I have molds that I fill with Rembrandt commercial bleach gel. Put them on once or twice every few months for a few hours a night and nice white chicklets.

...commercial bleach gel...

:surprised:

Yeah I'd recommend getting your dentist to do them, or, you can buy whitening packs that do a similar thing, but you have to wear a set of plates at night for a few weeks.

The commercial gel is what the dentist uses. Nothing harsh. Instead of wearing the plates for a few weeks it'll take 1 or 2 days tops.

Also, they are cheaper than the Dentist doing it for you.

Dentist uses the Laser to allow for the Bleach to activate faster and is more effective. The take home pack works but takes longer.

I was just making fun of the name 'cos it doesn't really sound like a 'people friendly' substance;-)

» $ or more a day rally doesnt leave them white :-)

I would just smoke 6-7 cigars a day until your teeth look like baked beans, and not worry about it. :-)

I have been using the Colgate 2 in 1 with Whitening, and it has got them very white. It is only a bandaid measure, as when you stop using it they change back, but if you use it all the time, people wont notice. Plus the upside is you wont have any decay.

I usually brush 15-30min. after I eat. But then again I normally smoke at home and hardly anywhere else :-D

New Listerine Whitening is not only a marketing ploy, but has good ingredients for assisting in whitening.

A Sonicare toothbrush. Aquafresh toothpaste.

Then give all your cigars to me.

LOL That's a nice picture you painted in my head.

Always have a second pair of dentures.

Pop in the clean set and then sandblast the dirty set until all the stains are off.

You guys don't have your own teeth do you? :surprised:

No body had metioned-Quit smoking. I agree that's a bad idea.

Over the counter products work but are diluted to be safe for the public and limit liability for the manufacture-cheaper and slower.

Laser White at the dental office is rhe fastest but also the most expensive. Ussually a high intensity light source is used to activate an oxodizing agent.

The best alternative for results and cost is the home bleach system delivered by the dentist. Trays are made to deliver the bleach and worn for an hour a day. Results in days but weeks to complete. It is not a mild agent. 16-21% Carbamide peroxide needs to be overseen by the Dentist. Oh that's me. Ya'll come and see me and I'll be glad to take what little money you have left after dealing with Rob.;-)

I'm glad to see this thread. Not because I'm going to go to great lengths to get my teeth white, but just because now I know I'm not alone. :lookaround:
