Van55
Pre-light: This was an ugly looking rustic mini. The head was broken and bent. The wrapper was dry and toothy looking. The draw was loose. First 1/3: As ever the Chicos delivered a hit of strong, peppery Partagas flavors. nice through the nose. I've always considered these the perfect 15 minute smoke. Despite its ungly exterior and easy draw, this example was no exception. Sipping it slowly enhanced my enjoyment. Nothing incredible, just solid Partagas pepper and spice. Second 1/3: Just more of the same. Nice! But the ash consistently dropped on my lap. Final 1/3 Peppery sweet. It's hard to consider this little thing a cigar, but it was excellent. Conclusion: Four smokerings -- for what it is.
El Presidente
One of my Canoe Prep cigars. Offload, attach outriggers, hook up fish finder, electric motor and outboard. 20 minutes. One Partagas Chico :-D Great review Van
SamuraiJack
I really like these. I just got into em. Good for the 20min drive to/from work. I think they really deliver that recognizable cuban flavor, albeit in a one-dimensional way.
