Packed tightly together is just fine, unless you were to literally squeeze them until they were damaged lol. They come in the boxes all tightly packed, after all!

Not to hijack your post but speaking of storage, is there any truth to cigar "marriage" and would a cramped humidor facilitate it?

It takes years and I mean years for cigars to "Marry". Are you not going to be smoking out of your humidor, cramped or not for that amount of time to transpire?

Thanks for that bit of information. I have a humidor just for storage (boxes) and I dont foresee the cigars in my "smoking" humi sitting there for that long. :-D
