No Codes unfortunately as it was bought as a single from El Prez 2 years ago.

The construction of the cigar was as a monte should be firm, no hard or soft spots noticed.

The wrapper of the cigar was a light green, smooth, no large veins.

Lighting up the "A", I find that the draw was a little easy. A lot of smoke volume. Initially, the burn was a little hot. (but that could be just me :-D )

Once the cigar settled down a little, mild palate of cream and bitter chocolate. Halfway was when it was most enjoyable, as the plate now changes to bitter coffee and a hint of spice. Last third of the cigar was a different beast, full complex flavours of spice and nuts.

The Montecristo A is medium flavour cigar which will take you on a 2 hour journey. 89 in my opinion.

Nice review Jay

Damn hard to find the time to enjoy which makes it all the more necessary to do so.

This is my superbowl, wedding, wake, business planning, letter to the Tax office (IRS) and home argument strategy planning.......cigar.

Thank you eveyone.

It is hard to find the time to relax and enjoy this cigar. That's why it took 2 years. Finally decided that I had better enjoy it before ordering more cigars.

time is the problem. same for the sancho's. from my experience, the monte A is a step up from the sancho's. like both but if if you can find the time, i'd stick with the monte's.
