Hello fellow Brothers of the leaf!

I have recently been trying different Havanas and was wondering if anyone can recommend some selections. So far this is what I have tried and liked:

Cohiba Robusto, Siglo IV, Siglo VI

Monte No.4, Edmundo, Petit Edmundo

Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill

Partagas Serie D No.4

H.Upmann Magnum 46, No.2

I have not really enjoyed the following:

Hoyo de Monterey Epicure No.2, Petit Robusto

Diplomaticos No.2

and surprisingly Monte No.2 (Must have been bad sticks.)

I know there are plenty of excellent Havanas that I need to try. So before placing my next order with the Czar, can anyone provide some suggestions regarding cigars that you have really enjoyed. Thanks everyone! :-D

My advice FWIW would be to try as many as you possibly can.

I hear you bro, but my wife has me on a budget, especially after I spent over a $1000.00 in less than a month! Boy was she pissed! So I would just like a general idea of what everyone is currently enjoying.

Been loving bolivar as of recent.

Perhaps look at ordering a bunch of singles, you can try a lot and not break the bank that way.

I've been looking at ordering some Bolivar, I've had two Royal Coronas which I liked, and I'm looking at ordering some Petit Coronas, and Coronas Gigantes.

Ramon Allones is your friend: medium-full bodied, spicy, fruity... and cheap.

From 07 I'd say the Specially Selected. Gigantes havent been that great since 05. Also try the Small Club Coronas!

Well you seem to have a wide range of flavors and sizes in both the like and not like category. Definitely put some Ramon Allones in the next order (RASS and Small Clubs). The RA Gigantes is a double corona and Im not sure if you are a fan of the size. Definitely try a Por Larranaga PC and the Montecarlo. You are also missing some bolivars, the corona extra is a must try along with the royal corona. If you want to try some larger cigars the Bolivar Corona gigantes should be near the top of the list along with the H Upmann Sir Winston. Oh, and dont forget to get some Trinidad Reyes! I know this is all overwhelming but I guarantee you that each one of the sticks I mentioned are unique to each other in flavor, body, complexity. I love Cuban cigars! Enjoy.

Here how to work it: Start with large samples...always get two of each..if one stick is bad...the other one might be good....as you smoke cigars you like then pick up boxes...

Specially Selected: Not to into these...the Specially Selected in Cuban means pay more money............

Note some Cigars take time to grow into: As you smoke more you come back to past smoke and find new levels in them...

RASS is the best for the money hands down and its great fresh or with age its the only Robo i smoke today.
