Mel39
…In Hold‘em, Not Cricket Australian cricketing legend-turned poker player Shane Warne has realised his dream of captaining the Australian side – it’s at the World Series of Poker rather than The Ashes, but he’s not complaining. His off-field antics meant he was passed-by for the top spot in the cricket, however he has been representing Australia at the World Series of Poker 2008. Warne compared his two passions, saying that they required “a lot of patience and it's all about reading the player.” He remained realistic, though, saying: “I don’t think I’ll make a final table on my debut.” He revealed he has found a poker mentor in well-respected tournament player and 2005 Main Event Champion Joe Hachem, another Aussie. “He’s teaching me about bluffing and when to fold or raise,” Warne said. “Like a mentor.” Source:Onlinecasinonews.com and Bluffeurope.com source: OnlineCasinoNews
