Royal Palm Bark

I have a humidor concept that I wanted to try. It involves lining a new humidor with Royal Palm Bark. The cubans use this to bale tobacco leaves for aging after the fermentation process. So, does anyone know where I can purchase some of this? I really wonder what kind smell the Royal Palm exhibits.

Interesting concept but absolutely no idea where to source the palm bark. Royal Palm is grown world wide. Would it not just be as easy as contacting lanscaping suppliers who grow the trees for resorts etc?
