A couple of folk from the CA forums are getting together in Atlanta on the 10th of July - if you're in the area, please join us!

I'm providing the first round of smokes for any CA or FoH forum members who show up - beyond that, it's up to you! :-D

Where: La Casa Del Tobacco in Buckhead

When: July 10th, 7:00 PM to ???

Hope to see you there!

Update and Bump... :-D

Another Atlanta B&M (Ash Cigars, also in Buckhead) is having a scotch and cigar tasting on Thursday as well - we'll probably migrate over there at some point after everyone gets together and has a chance to unwind.

We have folk coming in from all over the place for this one - should be fun!

» Great time had by all... Many smokes, wonderful companionship, pizza,

» beer, impromptu lessons on the art and craft of blending and aging

» tobacco...

»

» Photos to follow, after I get some sleep... :-D

would love to see these.

I had planned on dropping by, but my flight home out of Philly was delayed by a nut-numbing FOUR HOURS . . . so there went those plans.

» Had a great time. Smoked some great cigars (thanks for the RyJ Earl), and

» had great conversation. Hope to do it again soon.

OK, for those who missed out on the fun, some [link=http://s213.photobucket.com/albums/cc76/crazypoet62/?action=view&current=5cd64732.pbw]Pictures[/link]

We had so much fun that I almost forgot that I had a camera, so the pics are a bit thin...

Eddy, the owner of La Casa del Tobaco was gracious, generous and a lot of fun. He not only allowed us to hang out waaaaay past closing time, but kept the wine flowing and shared a lot of esoterica surrounding the growing and processing of our favorite leaf (he also owns a small boutique NC cigar brand - E.Zarzuela Cigars)

I'm looking forward to doing this again!
