winelover Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Bought a bottle this evening as there was a big discount. Drank straight in a crystal snifter. Smooth clean tasting cognac but lacking complexity. Pleasant but too linear to be exciting.

winelover Posted June 15, 2008 Author Posted June 15, 2008 Polished off 3/4 of a bottle today sitting out with my bro in law, he had a BBF and I a Upmann no.2 drinking coffee after a bbq. Think the cognac fits well for these occasions. If you want a mind blower, this just does not have the complexity or the flavours, but for a session drink, it does very well.
