Imperial Tobacco / Altadis / Change of Control Clause

I've been doing a little searching to see if Imperial did indeed gain control of Altadis' stake in

HSA, or if Cuba has / will exercise the change of control clause.

I've not been able to find anything new, and wonder if any members had?

I have heard of nothing interetsting about this so I just assumed all is going sweetly. Will shoot off an e-mail.

I think El Prez is right: things must be going smoothly.

Imperial must have discussed with the Cuban authorities before any bid. You deal with such issues quietly beforehand so that no one loses face and you don't waste time. IMHO
