Dino,

I started with all the popular stuff first..

Monti #2, RASS, PSD #4, Monti Petit Edmundo, Hoyo Epi #2.. All larger ring gauge and all "popular" at some time or another.. Here is a good link to what is smoking good now..

But I have found alot of enjoyment is some smaller cigars too so maybe you should try the Punch Petit Punch or the Partagas Short.

As they have said try them all!

Let me suggest that since you are new to cigars in general that you sample the smaller formats first, that is so you can taste the different Barnds and determine what you enjoy. As you smoke more, many have found that their palate changes and develops and more cigars become enjoyable as your palate develops. To me, why should I spend big money on a cigar until I find out if I am going to enjoy the flavors of the marca? Besides, thinner and smaller ring cigars have a larger footprint and flavor vs the large ring and large format cigars IMHO.

Mark suggested that you contact Rob for a Newbie Samplier which is an excellent suggestion, Rob will do you right!

I suggest the following:

Montecristo No.5

Partagas Short

RASCC

SCDH El Principe

Diplomaticos No.5

Trinidad Reyes

Cohiba Siglo I

You can gain so much from this group of cigars that will actually open your eyes to the different flavors of the different marcas so you can determine from your owe experience and from reading the reviews here where you would like to explore next.
