What are El Presidente and the other discerning palates smoking frequently these days? Any particular brands or vitolas that you tend to return to more frequently than others?

Well, 95% of what I smoke is fresh/young cigars. It is the only way that I can keep my finger on the pulse of what is happening. SOme days I get excited and others depressed but overall I run across more than enough to wet my appetite.

Standouts from current stock (smoking well now).

Partagas D4

HDM Epi 2 (great comeback from years in the wilderness).

RASCC

Sir Winston (03's readily available abd the few 07's I had were spectacular).

Montecristo Edmundo's and Petit Edmundo's (I hated the PE's until recently).

Juan Lopez Seleccion No 2 (having one now).

Punch Petit Punch

R&J Cazadores

Bolivar Corona Gigantes

Bolivar Corona Extra

Cohiba Robusto

Cohiba Genios

Cohiba Secreto

HDM Double Corona (again...nice comeback)

Partagas Coronas (still plenty in stock)

Punch Super Seleccion No 1

Cigars that generally smoke well young but which have gone slightly off the boil, are a little inconsistent or need another 12 months.

Trinidad Reyes

Montecristo No 2

Punch Petit Corona

Dip 2

Dip 4

Punch Royal Seleccion No 11

Partagas 898 Varnished

Punch Royal Selecion No 12

Ramon Allones Specially Selcted

Bolivar Royal Corona

Bolivar Belicoso Finos

SLR Regio

Partagas P2

Cigars I enjoy that have lost it recently (last 6 months) Not sure what is going on.

Juan Lopez Seleccion No 1

HDM Le Hoyo De Dieux

HDM Epicure No 1

Montecristo No 4

Ramon Allones Gigantes

Sancho Panza Molinos

hey Prez,

I have smoked a 1/2 dozen siglo 1's from feb 07 that were some of the best cigars I have smoked this year. Just absolute flavor bombs. Have these been inconsistent and did I just get a few from a lucky box? They had so much more depth than the Coro's I have from around the same box date.

Just inconsistent. We do need to search through a lot of boxes to find the stellar examples.
