Habanos Festival Mareva - 42 x 5.5 IIRC

Looks to be RPO FEB 00, although the code is very faint.

Quite possibly my favorite HSA presentation.

Dark and oily with a slight bean flavor at cold.

Good construction.

First third: Herbal flavors on light, slight caramel struggling to shine through. This is one of the few cigars I can exhale through my nose, and I'm picking up some vanilla bean via that method.

Second third: More complex flavors are coming to the surface, although I'm having a hard time putting my finger on them. Burn has been a bit uneven since the beginning. Draw is loosening a bit, which is good. Still plenty of thick, grey smoke.

Final Third: Body is starting to fill out, vanilla has stayed consistent throughout, and a slight herbal taste as re-emerged. Nubbed with about .5" left as it was becoming a bit harsh at the end. :(

Overall: 95. An excellent smoke, too bad there were a few minor burn issues.

Edit: ROBBBB! Why is there a pixel width limit? ARGH!

» Hi,

»

» Is I possible to get a good scan of the cigar band, opened up, for my

» website.............or alternatively, an actual band?

»

» Thanks, Trevor

This band didn't come off cleanly, but I think I have one that is in a little better shape. Do you need the Club Epi as well? I can scan both on Wednesday at work.
