Colt45 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Another wine I've been drinking a bit of lately, and another grape I had been unfamiliar with. Middleweight or slightly less in body. Predominantly red cherry in flavor. Bright but balanced acidity, with lightly astringent tannins on the finish - the acidity acting as the main structural component. Nicely balanced and rather refreshing - almost giving the impression of being frizzante, but is quite still. Overall, a very nice wine and a great value at U.S. $10. Worth a try if one were to happen upon it in their travels.
